The CDRD introduces a series of in-house seminar, and Guest Lecture programs where a Guest Speaker will be invited to bring into discussion on the national and international discourse. It will generally take place on the last Friday of each month.

A guest lecture by B. Surendran was took place on August 25, 2019 at Central Department of Rural Development as a regular in-house seminar. B. Surendran highlighted the philosophy of Integral Humanism in the Indian Context.
3. Interaction Programme with Chinese Students on August 28, 2019
Interaction with Chinese Students was taken place on August 28, 2019 (11 Bhadra 2076, Wednesday) in the Central Department of Rural Development, Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Some Chinese students including the President of China Nepal Cultural Exchange Association Tsinghua University participated in the interaction programme. Students from both sides shared their views about academic and other system of Nepal and China .
